Hi there, I'm Joshua Lewis, and I've been in charge of Retro Club since December 2021. As I think about the last years of hosting these gatherings, I can't help but smile at all the retro moments we've shared. Brace yourselves for even more exciting and well-organized Retro Club events in the pipeline. Trust me, this journey down memory lane is going to be something special, especially since it's my final year of doing it.
How it started
The journey of Retro Club began on December 15th, 2021. Initially intended as a one-time event, it quickly evolved into something more permanent under Joshua's guidance. The spark behind its inception came from Joshua's dissatisfaction with the other "Flex Day Activities" at CodeRVA Regional High School. While he found some solace in the Esports Club, the idea for Retro Club struck him on December 1st, 2021. The tireless efforts of his committee team and the invaluable support from the school have led to the creation of a vibrant community, complete with exciting tournaments and engaging activities.
